Probably the simplest project to make but not the simplest solution to think of this device is a good example of how determining the correct solution is often far more difficult than making it. The client was a lady who had had a stroke and lost the use of one arm. The problem was that to hang washing on a line requires two arms. One hand holds the washing in place while the other hand is used to put the clothes peg on. Using only one arm the clothing often falls to the ground as you let go to get the peg.
The solution was two glue two clothes pegs together.
You can now attach one peg to the clothes in the basket, bring them up to the line and use the other to attach to the line. The two designs (front to front and back to front) were used because some clothes worked better with one orientation, others with the other.
Simples as the Meerkats would say - once you had thought about it!
