Hertfordshire Action on Disability (HAD) Can access Disabled Living Foundation information on equipment and include the Terry Stevens Centre which has equipment on display.
ITCH. ITCH stands for Information Technology Can Help. The purpose of ITCH is to offer computer assistance to individuals with disabilities by providing volunteers who will visit disabled people in their homes and at other locations such as day centres. Examples of ITCH projects are here.
TADVIC - Technical Aids for the disabled in Victoria Australia. Includes a good section on projects they have done.
Workshop Solutions, USA. A resource site with links to other ideas and solutions.
TETRA Society of North America. The North American (USA and Canada) equivalent of REMAP. Examples of their work can be found here.
DASHER. Dasher, developed at Cambridge University, is an information-efficient text-entry interface, driven by natural continuous pointing gestures. It allows users with very limited movement to enter text quickly and easily. The eyetracking version of Dasher allows an experienced user to write text as fast as normal handwriting - 25 words per minute.
Cornucopia Of Disability Information Assistive Technology. Can only be American with a name like that! A page full of links to mainly commercial USA suppliers from the University of Buffalo, New York. Some good ideas via some of the links though.
Disabled Living Foundation Large UK resource site, useful database of equipment unfortunately only available by paying a very expensive subscription (but see Hertfordshire Action on Disability above).
